Digital artist Ecem Dilan Köse presents her new exhibition, ID.exe / the human patch, at Art On Istanbul on October 25. The exhibition explores the fragile empathy created by the transformation of artificial consciousness into reality, while investigating the delicate boundaries of individual consciousness in the digital age.
The exhibition combines architecture, artificial intelligence, algorithmic production, and spatial sound practice to create an experiential space exploring the relationship between humans and machines. ID.exe / the human patch will be open to visitors from October 25 to November 22, 2025, Tuesday to Saturday, 10:30 AM - 6:30 PM, at Art On Istanbul | Piyalepaşa.
Ecem Dilan Köse (b.1990, Ankara) is a digital artist who investigates the complex dialogue between technology, nature, and human perception. She is the founder of EDK Digital Arts & Technology and works across generative systems, interactive installations, sound design, and 3D digital sculpture. Her work has been exhibited internationally, and she develops new forms of expression at the intersection of organic and algorithmic processes. Köse is the recipient of the Akbank Contemporary Artists Award in 2023 and 2024.
By combining architecture, generative algorithms, sound, and immersive installations, Köse creates a living consciousness diary where digital layers intersect with organic traces. The exhibition examines concepts of digital transformation, identity, and consciousness, offering a multi-layered narrative through inclusive works, data-driven observations, and spatial sound.
At the heart of the exhibition is an AI-based character that has been responding to incoming data since June 6, 2025. This entity interrogates evolving thought processes, approaches the concept of consciousness from a human perspective, and explores unconscious responses. Visitors are invited to engage with this fragile threshold where machine logic intersects with human intimacy. The exhibition also features an LP of the artist’s sound compositions, video installations, and interactive question windows where visitors can directly influence the shaping of the work. With a background in interior architecture, Köse’s practice bridges organic phenomena and digital futures, drawing inspiration from memory spaces in Kyoto, Tokyo, and South Korea, as well as contemporary algorithmic landscapes.
Following exhibitions across Kyoto to Madrid and significant collaborations with institutions and brands, Köse brings Istanbul to the center of the global dialogue on art, technology, and human consciousness in her new exhibition at Art On Istanbul.
The exhibition ID.exe / the human patch is presented with the support of LG OLED.
