Meliha Sözeri (b.1982, Antalya) is an Istanbul-based artist and academic whose interdisciplinary practice engages with themes of politics, daily life, individual and social relationships, systems, and transparency. Working across sculpture and performance, her production investigates the intersections between contemporary art, architecture, urbanism, and the body, often creating works that challenge perception and viewer experience.

She graduated with a BA (2004) and an MA (2007) in Sculpture from Marmara University, where she also completed her Proficiency in Art (2016). Since 2020, she has served as an Associate Professor at Istanbul Technical University’s Department of Fine Arts, teaching courses including Drawing, Basic Design, Perspective on Sculpture, Contemporary Art, Performance–Dance, and Music. Her academic research has examined the relationship between sculpture and architecture (Sculptural Forms in Architecture from the 1970s to the Present, 2007) and the inversion of perception in contemporary sculpture (Practices that Invert Perception of Plasticity in Contemporary Sculpture, 2016).
