Umut Erbaş (b.1991) is an Istanbul-based multidisciplinary artist whose practice spans photography, video art, site-specific interventions, and installations. He completed his undergraduate studies in the Photography and Video Department at Yıldız Technical University and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Painting at Marmara University.
His work has been featured in national and international exhibitions, and he was recognized in GUP Magazine’s Fresh Eyes Talents list in 2022. A distinctive feature of his practice is the manipulation of materials across different surfaces, creating a unique dimension that enriches his conceptual and visual language.
