art ON Istanbul hosts a group exhibition from March 30 – April 27, featuring leading figures in abstract, optical, and kinetic art: ZIMOUN, MOUTASHAR, PEREZ–FLORES, TORRES, and GORDILLO.

Swiss artist ZIMOUN works with industrial materials, cardboard, and plastic to create installations, sound pieces, and kinetic artworks.

Venezuelan Santiago TORRES, combining optical art with digital platforms, makes the viewer part of the work, allowing interaction with digital screens to recreate the op-art experience.

Born in Iraq, Mehdi MOUTASHAR abstracts elements of Islamic calligraphy and ornamentation to construct a new visual language, adding color to emphasize form.

Italian Dario Perez-FLORES plays with visual perception by combining acrylic, metal, wood, and canvas. An important representative of op-art, Perez-FLORES extends the illusion created by color and geometric forms into a third dimension using wooden and metal elements.

Swedish artist Gun GORDILLO employs neon tubes to generate abstract lines, creating new volumes on the surface.

In collaboration with the French gallery DENISE RENE, art ON Istanbul presents a first-of-its-kind group exhibition in Turkey, showcasing multiple generations of optical, kinetic, and abstract artists. While introducing international artists to local audiences, the gallery also promotes its represented artists through projects abroad.
