Eyüp Ataş (b.1987) enrolled in the Painting Department of the Faculty of Fine Arts at Erciyes University in 2005 and graduated in 2010. He moved to Istanbul in 2011, where he worked as an assistant in the studios of Devrim Erbil and Nezih Çavuşoğlu. He has participated in various group exhibitions.

In 2016, his works were described as “sensational” by the London-based Majestic Disorder, Culture & Arts magazine and were featured on the cover of the publication. The artist places great importance on visiting international museums on a regular basis.

In 2023, he completed his MA at Yeditepe University, Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Plastic Arts and Painting, with a thesis titled “Figurative Painting and Sculpture in the Post-Truth Era.” He continues to work in his studio in Istanbul.
