Nurgül Gökçen (b.1997) is an Istanbul-based sculptor whose work emerges in the spaces between words, exploring emotions and thoughts that language cannot fully express. Her sculptures transform rigid marble into fluid, organic forms, emphasizing process, movement, and the interplay between strength and fragility. She studied Sculpture at Hacettepe University, Ankara (2016–2021), attended the Accademia di Belle Arti di Carrara, Italy (2018–2019), and is currently pursuing an MSc in Sculpture at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Istanbul (2022–). Her work has been exhibited in CrossRoads (Art On İstanbul, 2023), Polarity (Elgiz Contemporary Art Museum, 2023), and international projects in Italy, and she has received the Süreyya Ağaoğlu Sculpture Award (2023) and the Hitay Foundation Art Competition Award (2025).
